Who is Skillnet Ireland?
Skillnet Ireland is the national agency dedicated to the promotion and facilitation of workforce learning and development in Ireland. They are a business support agency of the Government of Ireland, funded from the National Training Fund through the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.
Their core mission is to ensure that Irish businesses have the skills they need to succeed. They operate on an enterprise-led model, which means that industry bodies and groups of companies, like the Irish Medtech Association, can form a Skillnet Network to address the specific skills needs of their sector. This ensures that the training provided is directly relevant, practical, and delivers a real impact on business performance.
