Welcome to the Irish Medtech Skillnet online booking portal. By using our website, creating an account, or booking a course, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
 

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website (irishmedtechskillnet.ie), operated by Irish Medtech Skillnet, a business network of Ibec, and powered by the CourseCo training platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable Irish and EU laws. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use this website.

 

User Accounts and Responsibilities

  1. Account Creation: To make a booking, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information and to keep this information up to date.
  2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  3. One Account Per User: Each account is for a single, named individual. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

 

Course Booking and Payment

  1. Process: Course bookings are made by completing the online registration form. A successful payment constitutes an offer to book a place on a course.
  2. Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email. If you don’t receive it, please check your spam folder before contacting us.
  3. Fees: All course fees are in Euros (€). Payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
  4. Eligibility: For courses subsidised by Skillnet Ireland, you confirm by booking that you meet all necessary eligibility criteria. We reserve the right to verify this.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by You:

  1. All cancellation requests must be sent in writing via email.
  2. More than 14 working days before the course start date: A full refund will be issued, less a 10% administrative fee.
  3. Between 7 and 14 working days before the course start date: A 50% refund will be issued.
  4. Less than 7 working days before the course start date: No refund will be provided.
  5. Substitutions: You may substitute a registered participant with a colleague at any time before the course begins at no extra charge. Please notify us in writing.

Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to unforeseen circumstances. In this event, we will offer a full refund or a transfer to an alternative date.

 

Intellectual Property

  1. Our Content: All content on this website and in course materials, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of Irish Medtech Skillnet, Ibec, or our training partners. These materials are for your personal, non-commercial use only.
  2. The Platform: The underlying software and technology of the CourseCo platform are the exclusive property of CourseCo or its licensors.

 

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

  1. Platform Availability: This website is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that the site or the underlying CourseCo platform will be uninterrupted or error-free and are not liable for technical issues beyond our reasonable control.
  2. General Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Irish Medtech Skillnet and Ibec shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you for the specific booking in question.

 

Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with GDPR. Your personal data is collected and processed through the secure CourseCo platform as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

 

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
