Quality Assurance
Irish Medtech Skillnet is committed to delivering high-quality, industry-led education that is fair, consistent and fully compliant with QQI’s Core Statutory Quality Assurance Guidelines (2016) and the Qualifications & Quality Assurance Act (2012). Our Quality Assurance System is overseen by an independent Academic Council and a Steering Committee, ensuring clear separation of academic and corporate decision-making, robust assessment processes (including Internal Verification, External Authentication and a Results Approval Panel), and continuous improvement through regular review and learner/tutor feedback. We currently deliver QQI Level 5 component awards in Quality & GMP and Continuous Improvement.
What our QA covers: governance and documented policies; programme design and validation; staff recruitment and development; teaching and learning; assessment integrity; learner supports; information & data management; public information; partnerships; and self-evaluation.
